Royal Priesthood Sermon Series

The High Priest wore eight garments: four worn by the other priests, and four unique to him. Jewish tradition teaches that each garment served to atone for a different sin and they were meant to honor and glorify those who wore them.

The Torah gives a long and detailed account of the inauguration of the first-ever High Priest. The Israelites were to gather at the Tabernacle, and Moses brought a series of sacrifices, dressed Aaron and his sons in the priestly garments, anointed them with oil, and smeared blood on their ears, fingers, and toes

1 Peter 2:9-10 (NKJV) says “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

Marching To Zion

On March 19 – March 22 Mount Pleasant Baptist Church will be hosting “Marching to Zion” based off of Psalm 50:2 “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.”.

Join us starting at 7pm.

Keepers of the Kingdom (VBS)

Hear ye, hear ye! Welcome, Keepers of the Kingdom!

We are engaged in an epic battle between two spiritual kingdoms for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, our kids are bombarded with lies about who they are and where their salvation comes from.

But we are not meant to fight this battle alone! God, the ruler of the good kingdom, has given his kingdom keepers spiritual armor to wear. With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son. And they will be equipped with the armor of God as they train to become Keepers of the Kingdom who stand strong in the battle for truth! Huzzah!

Building Relationships, Changing Lives

We want to thank you for stopping by and looking over our website mpbcworships. Please take all the time you need to familiarize yourself with the mission and vision of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. We are very passionate about building relationships, locally and abroad, so that lives will be impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

One of the ways we fulfill our mission and vision is by having a vibrant worship service every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. These are specific times that provide us all with the opportunity to worship through song and worship through, not only the hearing, but the application of the Word of God to our lives! Please consider coming and experiencing this first hand.

Another way we fulfill our mission and vision locally is by having a multitude of ministry opportunities. Please look over the events and news pages and get familiar with us before you come. You will find it very easy to connect here and deepen your walk with Jesus Christ.

We also have a passion for missions work abroad. If this is something that you have always wondered about come and experience the journey with us.

If we at Mt. Pleasant can help you deepen your walk with God or answer any question you might have please use the contact page or better yet… come see us this Sunday?
